Takko Fashion Analyzes Over 30,000 Online Campaigns with Localyzer
Takko Fashion, in collaboration with the online marketing platform Localyzer, has evaluated over 30,000 online campaigns. The findings highlight the benefits of location personalization. Event promotions generate the highest engagement among consumers.
Since 2022, the online platform Localyzer has been supporting the German fashion retailer Takko Fashion in geographically targeting potential customers through online advertising. Now, the two companies have analyzed more than 30,000 Takko campaigns across seven different countries. The study assessed the average click-through rates (CTR) of ads from November 2022 to November 2023. The data underscores the positive impact of location personalization.

France Leads with an Average Click-Through Rate of 11.1%
The click-through rate (CTR) of a campaign represents the percentage ratio between the number of clicks and the number of ad impressions. Among the surveyed countries, local advertising is most effective in France, achieving an impressive CTR of 11.1%. The Netherlands follows with 8.3%, while Italy also performs well, with a CTR of 4.9%.
Germany also demonstrates strong performance in online advertising, although it ranks slightly lower than other countries in the study. In Germany, 26 clicks are generated per 1,000 ad impressions, resulting in a solid CTR of 2.6%. The Czech Republic ranks last in the study, with a CTR of 1.7%. Differences in CTR between countries may be attributed to various factors, including brand awareness, cultural variations, and how users perceive advertisements in different regions.
Local Social Media Ads Perform Best in the Netherlands
Breaking down the campaigns into social media and Google Ads reveals a different picture. In terms of social media campaigns, the Netherlands ranks first, boasting an impressive CTR of 8.3%. Romania follows in second place with a CTR of 2.6%, representing a significant difference of 5.7 percentage points. France also sees promising results in social media advertising within the fashion industry, with a CTR of 2.4%.
Google Ads, on the other hand, generally yield even higher relevance than social media campaigns. This is evident in France, where Google Ads campaigns achieve an average CTR of 20.1%. Poland follows with a CTR of 15.2%, while Germany secures third place with nearly 15%.
Event-Based Advertising Generates the Highest Click-Through Rates
Coupons, events, and sales promotions are popular tactics for engaging potential customers locally. Among these, event promotions—such as store anniversaries—record the highest CTR at approximately 4%. Sales and price reductions follow with a CTR of 2.7%, while coupons generate a CTR of 1.8%.
